How to Prepare for Your Roof Project
Hello, my name is Tim Mallory and I own Advantage Roofing. I wanted to take a minute to personally thank you for your business. I realize there are many options for roofing contractors in the market today, and I want to thank you for putting your trust and confidence in Advantage Roofing. Our goal is to provide the best service and quality roof installation, so you have no hesitations referring our company to your friends and neighbors! I also wanted to give you helpful information, or suggestions, on how to prepare for your roof replacement project.
Material Delivery
The shingles/underlayment/flashings etc., are usually delivered by our supply house the day before the start of a project. The material is placed on one side of the driveway and as close to the house as possible. We will give you a call a day or two before installation, letting you know when the material will be delivered. If you have a vehicle in the garage you need to access, please park it on the street on the day of delivery. This prevents us from blocking your car in the garage for the length of the project. If you have a preference as to which side of your driveway the material should be placed, please contact your Project Concierge.
Pictures/ Knickknacks/ Breakables
There is usually a fair amount of vibration as we remove your old shingles and install the new shingles. These vibrations can cause pictures to fall and knickknacks to slide off shelves/mantels. If you have any valuable/irreplaceable items, please place them in a safe place until the completion of the project. It is better to be safe than sorry.
Production Manager
Our production manager, will be stopping by your jobsite daily to check progress. He is in contact with the crew foreman on your project, going over the most up to date details concerning the progression of the install. He will also bring out any additional supplies needed to complete the roof installation. After your roof is completed, he will perform a final walk through, inspecting your new roof and give it his stamp of approval. This allows us a high level of quality control and assures us your roof will last many years into the future.
Completion
After our final walk through inspection, your Project Concierge will prepare a warranty package. In the package will be your workmanship warranty certificate, shingle manufacturer’s warranty and final invoice. They will then contact you to schedule a time for you to meet with your Estimator. Your Estimator will go through the warranty papers with you and collect final payment. We are able to accept credit cards payments if needed.
Ultimate Compliment
Our goal is to give you the best service and quality installation possible. Not only does this assure you have a long lasting roof protecting your home, but it also makes you feel comfortable referring your friends, family and neighbors to Advantage Roofing, as well as using our company for your other home projects. We view referrals and repeat business as the ultimate compliment from a homeowner and over the years we have been blessed with both; they are truly the livelihood of our company.
If anyone would have a question or would be interested in a free estimate, please pass our name along. Rest assured, anyone you refer to Advantage Roofing will receive the utmost in professional service and quality installation.
